Every Friday, 10am until 2.30pm
 

We are a happy friendly class who enjoy painting together and are happy to welcome new people to come and join our group. Why not pop in and see what we do. If you are just starting out you will find all the help you need.

If you like to do your own thing with help on technique etc, this is welcomed as to paint your own composition and develop your own style is our aim, we don’t all want to paint the same subject in the same way. Drawings with a colour copy to work from are provided should you wish to use them .Sometimes the whole class will do a step-by-step painting with me demonstrating each step first as we complete our painting together. I am always happy to give one-to-one help as you need it. We paint using photographs and life, whichever gives us the information we are looking for. Now and then we chose a subject other than flowers but this is mainly a flower painting class.

Classes run throughout the year with no need to book for a term .We don’t break for school holidays or have a few weeks off between projects .People of course take breaks when they go on holiday or things crop up ,But there are always enough of us to run our class I am happy to say . However let me know when you will be away and I can cater for how many are going to be in class.

As long as people want to paint along with me I will run our Friday painting class. Colour Mixing is a big part of what we do; we use many colour wheels and enjoy talking about all aspects of working with colour in class. It can get you hooked you will find yourself looking at things in a whole different way!

Classes are £11.00 per day payable on the day.

WORKSHOP DETAILS
We start at 10.00am until 3.30 pm. Tea and coffee are provided with a break for lunch at 12.00 until 12.30. Please bring your own lunch.
Price is £20.00 per day with a £10.00 deposit needed to secure your place. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable. The balance is payable on the day.

I will demonstrate each step first as we complete our painting over the two days covering BACKGROUNDS, NEGATIVE PAINTING, FLOWER PAINTING TECHNIQUES and COLOUR MIXING as this is my passion.

A drawing and colour copy of the painting for you to work from will be provided.
 I will also send you a list of materials to bring with you before each Workshop.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE WORKSHOPS WILL BE LIMITED TO 10 PEOPLE
AND PLACES WILL BE ALLOCATED ON A "FIRST COME" BASIS.
