Hello, my name is Bev Wells . and I
would like to welcome you to my web site. Here you will
be able to see the way that I paint Flowers in
Watercolour and find out about the classes I run every
Friday at The Lincolnshire Gallery,
Spalding. I also run Five Weekend Workshops each year.
Having painted in Oil and Acrylics
for many years I have found my passion is for
Watercolour. It has a mind of its own - which suits the
way I like to paint, flowers mainly, although I do paint
other subjects as well - with a respect for the paint
and the subject, and a passion to use the colour I want
to.
Your leaf may be green ! you dont have to
paint it green ! You are artistically free to
choose its colour
This is not a
Botanical Class - although good observation and drawing
are important - we are free to use the colour we want
and to portray the flower in our own way. I am also
proud to be a Member of The Society Of Floral Painters.
